Cloonacool Marquee Carnival, Co. Sligo

The carnival in the small village of Cloonacool was first held in 1965 in aid of church repairs and over the next seven years,
it became one of the top dancing marquees in rural Sligo.
Based on our research, it appears the last "annual dancing festival" was held in 1971.
